Building On Success: Mercy LEGO Meteors are Regional Tournament Champions!

Mercy's LEGO Meteors are advancing to the District Tournament for the FIRST LEGO League! They were presented with the Champion's award at the regional tournament this weekend for their their outstanding work on both the robot run and their research project.

This year's theme is Unearthed, an archaeology theme where teams "uncover the past to discover the future". The Meteors’ project, The Sifter, is a foldable and collapsible sifting tool designed to make fieldwork easier for archaeologists by allowing them to travel with their equipment more efficiently.

Next Up for the Meteors . . . the District Tournament!

We also congratulate the Mercy Digging Ducks (pictured below) who also put in lots of hard work and preparation for this weekend's competition. We are so proud of both of our Mercy teams!
