Maid of the Mist: Junior High Field Study 2017

April 25, 2017

Dear Parents,

We survived the second day of the class trip! We started the day by visiting the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls, New York. There, a boat drove through the waterfall’s mist, leaving us all drenched. We wore snazzy blue ponchos to make sure our clothes didn’t get too wet. Then, we walked over to Goat Island, the piece of land between the Canadian and American falls. Goat Island has an amazing view and is a great place to admire the falls. We enjoyed the Cave of the Winds, along with a lot of seagulls.

We then visited the fascinating power plant and power plant museum. This museum was very interactive and educational. Everyone enjoyed it and wishes we had more time there. But the person who enjoyed it the most was Mr. K. He was in a big nerd Heaven, and was definitely the happiest student there. We are now in Boston and getting ready for another exciting day. We’ll keep you updated.

Yours Truly,

Lily, Carter and The Jr. High Students
