Congratulations to FIRST LEGO League coach, Jim Lohre, on winning the coaching award at the recent state competition. In just three years Mercy's LEGO League program has doubled in size through Jim’s enthusiasm and dedication. His award nomination shared that he "guides unique team members with patience, calm, and knowledge, highlighting the strengths of each individual while emphasizing that they must work together to be successful." A fun fact about Jim's dedication to learning and teaching is that he connected with experts at Georgia Tech and the Hawaiian Institute of Marine Biology to obtain feedback on the team's geothermal cooling project!
